"Voting should be easy, but right now anti-voting advocates in Michigan are trying to make it harder. There are currently 39 pieces of anti-voting legislation in the Michigan state legislature that seek to limit Michigan voters' ability to cast a ballot, and we need your help to oppose them! Join us as we call Michigan voters to make them aware of this effort to suppress their vote and their voice. On average, you can make 300-450 calls on the dialer during a 2.5 hour shift. In that time you’ll probably speak to between 30-40 people. And of the people you speak to, typically half will say yes to calling their representative.
Each of these calls makes a difference, but our real power comes from the ability to generate enough calls to make legislators take notice. We need to fill 50 calling shifts this week to produce at least 1,000 constituent calls to Michigan state senators -- will you act now and sign up to fill one of those shifts?
